    What does an infrared linescanner do? An infrared linescanner builds a continuous thermal image of a moving process by scanning a single line hundreds of times per second.     What is the scan rate of the LSP-HD? The LSP-HD scans at up to 150 lines per second with 1,000 samples per line, delivering high-resolution thermal profiles across process widths from 0.15m to over 100m depending on optical configuration. It measures temperatures from 20°C to 1,700°C across its model range (standard range 300-1400°C, extended ranges available). The high scan rate ensures it keeps pace with fast-moving processes while still resolving fine temperature variations that could affect product quality.

    Which industries use linescanners?
    LAND linescanners are installed across cement (rotary kiln shell scanning), glass tempering and annealing, steel strip processing, paper and board manufacturing, textile heat treatment and asphalt production—essentially anywhere a wide, continuous, moving surface needs constant temperature monitoring to protect product quality and equipment integrity.
